RISE Youth Ministry

The goal of RISE Youth Ministry is to develop students into strong disciples by teaching God’s word and challenging students to take ownership of their faith.

GROW Groups

Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:45 am we meet in small groups to dive into the word of God. These groups are currently broken up by grade level. Middle School (7th-8th) meets in the Youth Building (Building D). The High School group (9th-12th) meets in the upstairs classroom in the sanctuary.

RISE at Midweek

This takes place on Wednesday evenings fro 6:30-8:15 in our Youth Building (Building D). We meet together and play games, worship God, listen to a message, then break up into small groups based on grade and gender to discuss the message. We even have snacks each week!
 

Summer Camp

This is our biggest event of the year! We will be attending Camp Zephyr in Sandia, Texas in June or July. The cost will be $265 per student. We will have a few fundraisers to help students pay for their camp. If you would like more information about camp, please contact us at studentpastor@sterlingwood.org.
 
Disciple Now Weekend
This is a weekend retreat that we host for our students. Students will be broken into groups based on gender and stay host homes of one of our church members who volunteers to host a group at their home. They will be fed all weekend. They will listen to a guest speaker and worship band, get to complete a mission project, and have some friendly competition during rec time! The cost for this weekend is usually $50 per student.
