Phil Herrington– Intentional Interim Pastor
Phil is married to his wonderful partner in life as well as partner in ministry.  Jennifer and Phil have four wonderful children:  a son and three daughters. And they recently welcomed their first grandchild.  Phil has over 30 years experience in Christian ministry.  He has earned his BA in Speech and Christianity from HBU and his MDIV from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Phil holds 1 Corinthians 9:22 as his life verse as he has a desire to live life on the basis of contextual evangelism that resonates within his heart.  He holds strongly to a servant leadership model that is comfortable and natural.  One of his objectives is always to recruit and develop teams.
Melanie Ayers – Administrator
Married to Greg for over 30 years, with two children who live out of state, Brittany & Allen.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree from UT, (Hook em, Horns!), and a master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in administration.  I love to run outside, read inside, and lead Good News Clubs in the public schools.  My favorite verse is “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.  Lean not on your own understanding.  In all ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”  Proverbs 3:5-6. I love this verse because I have seen it’s truth over and over in my life and our church.
Kyle Dobbs-Worship Pastor
I recently got married to my wonderful wife Sabra in June of 2016. Since then, I am the proud stepdad of two beautiful and talented little girls, Rosey and Bonnie. I got my undergrad degree at Texas A&M University in 2008 and am finishing up my Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, and spend time just lounging around with my family.
Dan Watts – Children’s Pastor
I have been married for 27 years to Brenda Watts. We have 3 grown boys, Paul, Dustin and Austin who were all discipled in SWC Children’s and Youth ministries. My favorite hobbies are building things and working on old cars (two cars are still in my driveway). I believe that children are sensitive to the Lord, and can be used greatly by our God. That’s why I have spent most of my adult life investing in children and having great fun!
Andrew Potter-Student Ministry Pastor

I married my beautiful wife Meagan in 2014 and welcomed our first child, Levi, in 2017.  I hold a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Texas A&M and enjoy spending time with my family, working with my hands and playing video games in my free time.  I grew up as a member of SWC and have been blessed to participate as both a student and volunteer in both children’s and student ministry prior to my current role as student pastor.  Middle school and high school are critical ages for all manner of student development and we strive to make our student ministry a place to rise above the challenges they face through discipleship and a focus on Jesus Christ.
